Sherry Ong Lay Yean 王丽燕（舍俪） 個人簡介Biography 舍儷姓王名丽燕, 1971 年出身于马来西亚霹雳州瓜拉古楼, 主修电脑科技学士毕业,曾是企业供应链采购部经理兼电脑采购系统发布主管于槟城工业区。2015 年舍儷开始学习水墨画, 师承马来西亚太平著名画家韩彪大师，并参与各协会的会员展，各项拍卖画展以及慈善展。舍儷现为水墨画画家和水墨画导师。 2020 年 3月, 舍儷筹备并举办了她的个人水墨画展，由高级拿督斯里许廷忠伉俪, 拿督吴侲赋以及韩彪师父一起主持画展开幕仪式, 共展出 30 幅水墨画作品并印刷画册留念。她与学生的师生画展实践线上画展。

Sherry Ong Lay Yean 王丽燕（舍俪） 個人簡介Biography Sherry Ong Lay Yean was born on 1971 in Malaysia. Raised in a fishermen’s village, Kuala Kurau, Perak, Mainland Malaysia. She is a graduate of Degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at TAR College, Kuala Lumpur conferred by CAMPBELL UNIVERSITY, USA in year 1995. She joined a multi-national company as a Business Process Specialist of Supply Chain Management and continued her career path towards Managerial and Head of Department of Purchasing Cum Procurement System Deployment Lead at Bayan Lepas , Penang. Gradually, Sherry pursued her role of accomplished Chinese Ink Brush Painting Artist and she became an art teacher in Penang. Her mentor is Master Hon Peow who is one of the famous Chinese Ink Brush Painting Artist from Taiping , Malaysia. Sherry is an art lover, she shows inspiration on her artworks correspondence in her life and livings. Sherry has placed her artworks in auction events and art exhibitions for charity and also in annual exhibitions of art societies.
In year 2020, Sherry exhibited her first Solo art exhibition《Sherry Artistry Solo Art Exhibition 2020》with total of 30 Chinese Ink Brush Painting artworks. Sherry Solo Art Exhibition official opening ceremony was successfully held on the 8th March 2020 by Dato’ Sri Khor Teng Tong , Dato’ Goh Teng Whoo and Master Hon Peow.

PETACH by YBYeoh Soon Hin of Penang State Executive Councillor of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Heritage Team at Penang House of Music, with Sherry showcase 《Peony Series》 artworks to audiences.
2022 年 - 赋予槟城佛教义学卫塞节筹募教育基金, 舍俪筹备和举行她和学生的师生卫塞节水墨画义展。Organised and prepared Wesak Day Charity Art Exhibition at Penang Buddhist Free School on chinese ink painting arts on teacher and students' art charity exhibition.
2022 年 - 《艺志维校》 网上竞拍助微小于浮罗山背艺术协会脸书页。1日至8日10月2022年竞标，售出舍俪的一幅《花开富贵》画作。Balik Pulau Art Society's Charity Art Online Bidding on 1-8Oct2022, Sherry's artwork 《Abundance》was sold out.
2022 年 -舍俪捐献2幅牡丹画作于'翰墨情浓献尊孔名家书画义展'为筹募雪隆尊孔独中建校基金, 逾900幅的书画供售卖, 舍俪2幅画作荣幸经筛选集成册并于综合教学大楼12楼美术展览中心展出, 从3日至11日12月2022年开放给大众赏售。From Sekolah Menengah Confucian (Persendirian at KL) collection of about 900 charity Arts and Calligraphy artworks for school development fund, two peony artworks of Sherry were selected to publish in booklet and exhibited at the art exhibition centre from 3rd to 11th Dec 2022 to public.
