Biography
Born in Penang 1975. Kek Hoon Pin (Hoon) has worked in the fields of Advertising as a creative in Singapore and Shanghai for over 25 years. From 2019 onwards, he started to pick up his paintbrush again, and worked mainly in watercolour and graphite on urban sketches.He lives with a strong learning desire and artistic emotions. He finds the richness of the palate expresses his personal feelings perfectly. He often experiments with new mediums and applies rich colours and lively brushstrokes, to create unique paintings that reveal his strong sense of composition and feelings for life, and to bring life to art.Over the years, he has participated in various local & international art group exhibitions or competitions (physical & online) in places like Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, France, Russian-Moscow and etc.
