Earth, Wind & Fire by Jean-François Jadin Earth, Wind & Fire (2024) stands as the third instalment in my Unfolding series, marking a deliberate shift from the circular canvases of earlier works to a commanding 48 x 60-inch rectangular format. This transition symbolizes a new phase in my exploration of elemental forces and their interplay within the human experience. The composition seeks to encapsulate the dynamic energies of earth, wind, and fire—each element representing foundational aspects of existence. Through abstract expressionist techniques, I aim to convey the tension and harmony between these forces, inviting viewers to reflect on their own internal landscapes and the broader natural world. First showcased at my third solo exhibition, Unfolding, held at Sutra Gallery in May 2024, this piece contributes to the overarching narrative of the series, which delves into themes of transformation, balance, and the continuous cycle of change.
