Eda Tan Sew Lan born in Perak, now staying in Penang.A retired Accountant, having a certificate from The Chartered Institute Of Management Accountants (CIMA, UK),also a degree holder of Bachelor of Fine Arts from The National University of Tainan, Taiwan.
A member to a number of local art organisations , including the National Art Gallery ,Penang Art Society, Penang Calligraphy Society, Balik Pulau Art Society. Penang Teachers' Art Circle,Penang Chinese Brush Painting Society ,Malaysian Female Artists Society etc. has been actively participated in various art activities locally and overseas, also won a number of awards in International art competitions.
Art pieces have been displayed overseas, in Singapore, China, Hongkong, Taiwan,Japan Thailand and so on.
