Chenyi is a self-taught native Penang artist. She demonstrates her love of drawing and painting through a variety of media, especially realistic portrait art, comics, illustrations, and even murals. She does not shy away from expressing her passion through specialization in watercolour, at the same time being versatile in ink pen, colour pencil, and acrylics. For the last 20 years, Chenyi has been sharpening her skills and inspiring her peers and students to appreciate the little things in life from the artistic perspective. She has been a long time member of the Penang Water Colour Society. Her work was exhibited at the Penang State Art Gallery, China House, Soul Cafe, Kafe Hideout etc. Her painting also won many titled at international art competition.
